Ms. Duslak holds a BFA in Fine Arts, as well as an M.Ed. in Secondary Education, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She is a specialist in arts integration, a transformative approach to classroom instruction that not only resulted in her being named Teacher of the Year in Sumter County, but also, most recently, resulted in her students gaining an average of three grade levels of knowledge on their IOWA tests in all subject levels in just one year. As an administrator, Duslak’s visionary leadership has been recognized with a number of awards, including News Channel 6’s Getting Results Award. It has also made her a sought-after speaker at various trainings and conferences, including a sold-out TEDx event for which she was the closing presenter. Duslak’s experience in education spans all the way from kindergarten to college and encompasses a variety of approaches and disciplines. She has published work in school counseling, arts integration, and the Pearson Formative Writing Assessments. She was also a contributing author for the Drama Standards for the state of Florida.
